Greenwich + Docklands International Festival is back this Summer with 17 days of free art, theatre, circus and dance across the city. Recently described in the Guardian as ‘London’s best free festival’, the full free programme can be explored here.

GDIF’s theatrical centrepiece this year is The Architect, an immersive theatrical journey through time and a city, conceived by Mojisola Adebayo, Roy Williams and Matthew Xia. The Architect will have multiple performances taking place between 6 - 10 September.

Audiences will travel aboard an iconic red bus and be transported across South-East London. This new production asks how we create a blueprint for the future, three decades after the senseless murder of Stephen Lawrence. Produced by Actors Touring Company and GDIF, in association with the Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation.

We’ve partnered with GDIF to give away a pair of tickets for the premier of this extremely limited theatrical experience, on Wednesday 6 September! The winner will also get a pair of River Roamer tickets, for unlimites all-day river travel!

  • Competition closes at 23:59 on Sunday 13 August 2023.
  • On Monday 14 August, one winner will be selected at random to win two tickets for The Architect & two River Roamer tickets.
  • The winner must reply by 10am on Wednesday 16 August; otherwise, Uber Boat by Thames Clippers reserves the right to offer the prize to an alternative winner.
  • The winner will receive two tickets for The Architect, valid for performances on 6 September 2023.
  • The winner will also receive two River Roamer tickets for all-day unlimited travel with Uber Boat by Thames Clippers to redeem within 12 months.
  • The competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding Greenwich + Docklands International Festival and Uber Boat by Thames Clippers employees, their immediate families and affiliated companies.
