Win tickets to climb Cutty Sark's rigging

For the first time since arriving in Greenwich 68 years ago, visitors to Cutty Sark can climb the famous ship's masts and enjoy views of the Thames and London like no other. Royal Museums Greenwich have partnered up with urban adventure company Wire & Sky to bring this unique experience to Greenwich.

Visitors brave enough to take on the challenge step up from the Main Deck to the ship’s ‘ratlines’ (rope ladders). From there you can make your way up into the rigging, just as sailors did during Cutty Sark’s long and fabled career at sea. Take in the view while looking down on a true London icon before a controlled descent takes you back down to the Main Deck, where you can reunite with friends and family and continue your Cutty Sark adventure, as your Rig Climb ticket includes access to all areas of the ship.

- Competition closes at 23:59 on Sunday 14 August 2022.
- On Monday 15 August, one winner will be selected at random to win two tickets to the Cutty Sark Rig Climb Experience.
- The winner must reply by 5pm on Wednesday 17 August; otherwise Uber Boat by Thames Clippers reserves the right to offer the prize to an alternative winner.
- The tickets must be redeemed before 1 February 2023, subject to availability.
- If the dates are postponed or the climb is cancelled on the day for whatever reason the winner will be given the chance to complete the climb at another time depending on availability.
- The winner will also receive two River Roamer tickets for all-day unlimited travel with Uber Boat by Thames Clippers.
- Winner's details will be shared with Royal Museums Greenwich in order to award the prize.
- Prize is not transferable to another individual and not exchangeable for cash. Tickets can be redeemable only by the named winner and must not be sold on to any other party.
- The competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding Royal Museums Greenwich and Uber Boat by Thames Clippers employees, their immediate families, affiliated companies and their agents.
