Buy tickets

  • Season Tickets (App exclusive)

    Save up to 75% on River Bus travel with a weekly, monthly or annual season ticket. Season tickets are valid from day of purchase

    Discounts available for children 5-15, TfL Travelcard holders, and Freedom Pass/60+ Oyster card/UK regional senior bus pass holders.

  • Carnets for flexible travel

    Flexible carnets are great for those that travel regularly by river but not every day.
    The price per journey can be up to 25% cheaper compared to paying with contactless or Oyster card.

    Available on the Thames Clippers Tickets app but also on the Uber app

  • Commuter AM (App exclusive)

    Save 25% by travelling on our services Monday to Friday between 06:30 am and 09:30 am. Buy the Commuter AM ticket any time from the Thames Clippers Tickets app.

  • Cross River

    Cross the Thames easier and cheaper when travelling between Barking Riverside and Woolwich, or Canary Wharf and Greenland (Surrey Quays) / Doubletree Docklands.

    The Cross River fare applies when touching in and out with an Oyster or contactless card for pay as you go or by buying a Cross River ticket on the Thames Clippers Tickets or Uber apps.

    Purchase single journeys or go unlimited for the day on your own, with friends or with your family.

FAQ

Can I purchase and activate more than one ticket?

Yes you can purchase more than one same type of ticket per transaction, just select the Multiple tab. Activate as many tickets as people travelling

How long does my ticket stay active?

Travel tickets stay active for 90 minutes, long enough for you to reach your destination. Hot drink tickets stay active for 5 minutes

When do my tickets expire?

Tickets that haven't been activated will expire within 90 days of purchase except for Flex 4 and 6 Ticket Carnet that expire within 7 days of purchase
