London’s River Bus is set to host its first ever Friday night comedy sailings. Travelling through the city on Friday 4th October and Friday 8th November, floating gig goers will see a line-up of three comedians, while taking in the iconic London sights and enjoying a drink from the onboard bar. The line-ups will include two BAFTA nominees, a Taskmaster winner, a Mock the Week and QI panellist and a record-breaking adventurer who once paddled a paper boat along the Thames. Tickets cost £20 and are available to book now at uberboatbythamesclippers.com/comedy.
Setting sail from Embankment pier at 6:30pm, the comedy sailings will take guests past London landmarks including Battersea Power Station, Houses of Parliament, Tate Modern and Tower Bridge. After an evening filled with jokes and jests, the boat will return to Embankment Pier for guests to disembark at 8:40pm.
On board, comedy fans can enjoy the Uber Boat by Thames Clippers’ licensed café bar, serving soft and alcoholic drinks, as well as snacks. Meanwhile, large windows and comfortable seating ensure perfect surroundings for big belly laughter, while the open back deck will be available for a break between sets.
