For adults and children (aged 5-15) with disabilities, you can get a 50% discount on our Single, River Roamer and Season Tickets – plus, carers are entitled to a free Companion ticket.
Every paying adult can have up to two children under 4 years old travel for free. If you have any additional children in this age category with disabilities, they too can benefit from the same 50% discount.
If you hold a Freedom Pass, 60+ Oyster card or UK regional seasonal bus pass, you’re also eligible for the same discount.
To claim your discounts the best is to download the Thames Clippers Tickets app and choose the “Concession” or “Concession + Carer” fare when purchasing your ticket.

Our commitment to accessibility is evident from the moment you step onto our piers. Every pier (except Cadogan, London Bridge City, and Wandsworth Riverside Quarter) has step-free access ensuring you can get on our vessels with ease.
Our commitment to inclusivity is reflected in our boats’ design. Wheelchairs, mobility scooters and prams can come aboard our vessels effortlessly via ramps, ensuring everyone can use our services.
Accessible toilets are available on all boats (except Star, Storm and Sky Clipper), and larger vessels are also equipped with baby changing facilities.
For those of you with TfL-issued Mobility Aid cards, you can bring your mobility aids aboard without any additional fuss. If you do not have a Mobility Aid Card and want to bring your mobility scooter on board please contact us first, as we cannot accommodate all scooters. All types of wheelchairs, including electric wheelchairs, are welcome on our vessels. There is no need to notify us in advance, just join us and enjoy your journey.
Wheelchairs and mobility scooters aren’t allowed on the back deck for safety reasons in line with the Maritime and Coastguard Agency regulations. However, there are designated parking areas available on all our boats, ensuring comfort and convenience.
For those with mobility impairments who use foldable wheelchairs, there's designated space for your folded wheelchair, allowing you to sit comfortably anywhere on the boat.
Our larger vessels can accommodate up to four wheelchairs/electric wheelchairs and an additional three folded wheelchairs.
Stay informed on your journey with our audible next-stop announcements, and our dedicated crew members are on hand to support travellers with hearing or visual difficulties.
Visual next-boat information is also available at our piers, keeping you informed about arrivals and next destinations. At staffed piers our team will also be on hand to help you.
We welcome all types of guide or assistance dogs on our boats free of charge, including fetch and carry dogs, mental health companion dogs and seizure alert dogs. However, please note that your guide or assistance dogs aren’t allowed on the seats.
