Hop aboard our special sailings from the estuary towns directly to the heart of the capital. We sail from Gravesend and Tilbury on select dates.

The boat will take just an hour to reach London. Along the way, you'll sail past many of the city's iconic sights, including the Thames Barrier, The O2, The Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, Canary Wharf, and under Tower Bridge.

You can buy a single ticket to get to central London from Tilbury and Gravesend; or a return ticket. For just a few pounds more, purchase an All Day ticket to enjoy unlimited use of our services for the day (includes a return ticket to Tilbury and Gravesend).

How to get to the departure piers

Getting to Gravesend and Tilbury piers is easy, both by car and public transportation. 

Gravesend Pier

    The 99 bus connects Tilbury Landing Stage to Tilbury Town station and operates up to every 30 minutes.

    You can park your car for free on Tilbury Landing Stage itself but please be aware that spaces are limited.

 

Terms and conditions
  • The Gravesend/ Tilbury services are special charter services and not part of our regular services; Hop-on Hop-off, single, return, season tickets, carnets or any other tickets valid for our regular services are not valid for these sailings.
  • Tickets must be purchased online in advance and will go off-sale at 23:59 on the day before the sailings take place.
  • Children aged 4 and under can travel for free as standard but a ticket still needs to be booked for each child.
  • Tickets are valid for the Gravesend/Tilbury service into central London for the date selected when booking.
  • Tickets cannot be used to board a different Gravesend/Tilbury service into central London on a different date.
  • Single and return tickets on the Gravesend/Tilbury service into central London are not valid on Uber Boat by Thames Clippers regular services.
  • All Day tickets are valid for unlimited all-day travel on Uber Boat by Thames Clippers regular River Bus services.
  • Gravesend/Tilbury service to North Greenwich Pier is an accessible service. Unfortunately London Bridge City Pier is not accessible. The boats can carry two unfolded wheelchairs and an unlimited number of folded wheelchairs.
  • Passengers with a disability benefit from a discount and should select the Accessible tickets. If a complimentary carer’s ticket is required, please add a ticket selecting Child (0-4)/carer fare.
  • It is the passenger’s responsibility to be at the departure pier at the time indicated as there will be no refund or exchange if the boat is missed.
